MOEWN is a experimental rock quartett from Hamburg, Germany. MOEWN produces ambient, maritime soundscapes and combines elements of post-/progressive- and desert rock. In late 2016 synthesizer artist „cultural artifact“ joined the band.

I don't know how I found out about these guys but I'm so glad I did. I hear influences from great bands in them like Tool, Yes, Rush, QOTSA, Pink Floyd. They do those influences justice while making something more. I love instrumental albums and I've been partial to Jazz Fusion like Billy Cobham and Medeski, Martin and Wood. They don't have the "chunk" though. These guys are a level above typical stoner rock. They're intelligent, talented musicians and songwriters. I hope they continue.
